Includes: Context Theme exercises Character exercises I use this PowerPoint in class whilst reading the play for the first time to a new set of pupils. The PowerPoint begins with important background information and then moves on to pupil-led work on important themes and characters within the play. Also included in this resource is the document for the gender match up exercise. For the war exercise, I print the slides straight from the PowerPoint, printing however many needed for numbers in each class.
