This lesson revises Eric's character and allows students to analyse the motivations behind Eric's character. It will explore quotes which lead students into writing their own analysis.

In the lesson students explore the theme of conflict. There are a range of activities: discussion, analysis, quote exploration and then a written task.

Useful for a high ability class. Its usually seen as a difficult text but the vocabulary and imagery is challenging.
