Print out the time line for the students. They can either: Go around the room and collect information, Complete the task at home as homework, Research information to fill the time line Or simply sit and listen to the information given to them. It depends on the class really! I will include my information sheets to go with the worksheet in the next few days. I think it is useful to complete the worksheet and, then go into the gold foil experiment in more detail and only then start to compare it to the plum pudding model :)
