For the run around quiz I print out Qs on different coloured paper and divide the class into teams of 4. Explanation is on the PPT. I give them any and all textbooks that have info about the Black Death in. For use with the New Hodder textbooks. Public Health lesson also makes use of the old SHP Medicine Through Time textbook. I use online quizzes, but you could easily make up your own; in the style of Q1 from the new GCSE so key dates / facts / names etc.
