As an end of slavery topic, we use a series of lessons to watch the film and discuss the key points using the attached sheets. The sheet provides moments to pause and discuss or pause and skip particulary difficult scenes (I teach this to year 8 so some of the material is not suitable). The question sheets ensure the students pay attention and have information to use as prompts for discussion. I struggled to find a way of using this film in lesson considering the diffcicult subject matter so I made this quick resource to support this. I hope it helps as the film is a valuable resource to use and highlight the injustices of slavery.
