Produced for Year 13 following the WJEC Chemistry scheme

A practical activity followed by an animation for learners to explain the effect of concentration on rate of reaction

Some resources I have prepared - some of the information has been taken from other resources on this site. The learners had to use the information on the slides to complete their own information poster. They then completed the 6 mark OCR question.

Covers what's in our water and water consumption. Written for the WJEC Chemistry GCSE

Suitable for BTEC applied science task and GCSE. Learners should use the information to explain why some reactions are endothermic overall and some are exothermic overall.

TEEP resource based on the new WJEC Chemistry spec. Learners should use the images to define element, compound, mixture and explain the difference between an atom and a molecule (not going into atomic structure yet). They then use the cut and stick exercise (not mine, taken from this site I think) to demonstrate their knowledge. The final task is to apply their knowledge to create a poster which they peer assess.
