Each year group has been allocated letters, letter strings or words that are in line with year group objectives and following the NC objectives and guidance from The Writing Framework July 2025. Each week of each half term from F2 to year 6 has been allocated letter, letter strings of words daily. F2 begins without the lead ins for cursive as recommended. The lead ins are introduced in year 2 if the children are ready. By year 3 they are joining writing the year 3/4 spelling lists before year 5 & 6 take on the year 5/6 words.
