A Diwali assembly I made for Y3&4. Easily adaptable for KS1 and upper KS2 pupils. Includes links to BBC Newsround and Nat Geographic youtube vids to support learning. Discusses the What, Who, Where, Why and How of Diwali, as well as asking pupils to make links with other celebrations that they may be familiar with. No distracting backgrounds or animations - good old fashioned (no-nonsense) knowledge.
