A unit of work on Industrial Cities through sources. Students will look at traditional views of industrial cities, before looking at specific examples of Manchester (using Engels) and London (using Booth’s map)

The first lesson focuses on the types of injury and illness, the second on the role of stretcher bearers, and the final lesson on medical improvements.
