Lesson template for either English or Art. English: Children can write sentences about how they are unique and what makes your class a family e.g. respect, kindness, being helpful. Art: Children can draw a self portrait to show their uniquness or they could even draw themselves doing something which makes them a part of their class family e.g. helping someone with their learning.

This resource includes, PowerPoint slides for organising toys on a timeline with SEN support and activity ideas on the slides. This lesson involves: children exploring a timeline which shows within and beyond their living memory, organising real toys and then photos of these toys for evidence in their books, and a summary sentence for the plenary.
