This is a PowerPoint that introduces students to 2 of the main libraries used in the Employer Set Project for the Digital T-Level. MatPlotLib and Pandas. They will predict, run, investigate and modify the code and then create their own programs. These skills are needed for the exemplar ESP and the activities have been designed specifically to support students with the exemplar tasks. Exemplar code to run in Python can be copied and pasted from the slides. A csv file is also provided to use with the programs. Students will need to read data from the csv file for the ESP. Make sure students store the csv file in the same folder as their Python program for it to work. You will need to have Pandas and MatPlotLib installed on your IDLE or otherwise you can use and online editor such as Replit. TES would not let me upload the CSV file, so you will NEED TO SAVE THE EXCEL FILE AS CSV.
