This is an Introduction to Shakespeare SOL that takes learners through the Renaissance Theatre world before introducing The Bard’s language. Learners explore Commedia D’ell Arte before exploring Shakespeare’s England. There are a range of plays studied, focusing on different key knowledge for GCSE Drama, such as Staging Configurations and writing for the exam. The Exam Writing lesson is focused around AQA GCSE Drama and can very easily be removed.
