I made this task for my Y10, themed on describing others’ personality First page: Text with missing words to do a listening task (you read and they write the missing words) + the 6 reading comprehension questions and 3 language structure questions. Second page: Full text if you do not wish to do the ‘missing words’ task + the same 6 reading comprehension questions and 3 language structure questions. Third page: Given answers to the questions.

This worksheet is a gapfill on car and donc. Students fill up the 20 sentences with one of the two words. Best for KS4 recall/practice. Sentences include present, past and future tenses. Answers on the second page. Two worksheets on a A4 format to fit easier in books.

Students turn the 20 sentences in present tense to sentences in near future tense. Answers on page 2. Support to form near future on the worksheet.

Students goes around the classroom to ask the questions to their classmates and takes notes of either they did it or not, they can then ask for futher informations. I’ll do it with my KS4. Some examples can be found at the bottom of the worksheet.

Students connect the points from 1 to 42 to form a Christmas tree. I’ll use it as a starter recall with my Y7. Two worksheets on a A4 page to fit in books.

This PowerPoint is a template (content free) for 12 questions. Students choose a number and when you click on it, it leads to a question they have to answer before the answer appears. I usually use it for plenaries.

This PowerPoint is a template designed for a 100 seconds multiple choices quiz (content free). On each slide can be put a question with 4 choices to answer. Once you move to the second slide, students have 10 seconds to answer the question before it moves automatically to the next one (total of 10 questions). They can see the Eiffel Tower being constructed little by little as the quiz goes on. Slide to put answers at the end. 10 seconds count down on each slides. I use it as a routine on recall tasks or plenaries.

This activity can be used to practice choosing the correct verb (faire, aller, jouer) with activities. Sentences include present tense and infinitive forms. Correct answers are on page 2. I would suggest to use it with KS4, as vocabulary in the sentences might have not been covered yet for KS3. Two worksheets per A4 paper so it fits well in books.

Conjugaison worksheet to practice simple negative form with the verb être in present tense. Support pictures are on the worksheets. Answers on page 2. I would suggest to use the activity with KS4 to practice/recall negative ‘ne…pas’ and present tense with the verb être. Can be done at KS3 if they are familiar with the vocabulary present in the sentences. Two worksheets per A4 paper so it fits in books.

This is to practice conjugation on the verb “être” in present tense. Students have to find the mistakes and correct them in the sentences. Support picture with conjugation is included on the paper. Correct answers are on page 2. I would suggest using it as recall/practice for KS4 since the given sentences might contain uncovered vocabulary for KS3. However if you have covered the vocabulary or can provide support it can be great for KS3 practice too! Design is two worksheets per A4 paper to fit in books.

This contains two posters. One with conjugaison of the three regular groups (-er/-ir-re) and one with être, avoir, aller and faire. Little bees are present on tu (sing.) and vous (pl. or polite) as reminders. Regular endings are underlined.
