Animal Table Groups

(1)
Six designed table names or table groups based on alliteration animals. These can be laminated, folded and put in the middle of your tables so that children know what group or table they belong to. This can work across primary school no matter what key stage you are in. These are fun and friendly designs that can help children to remember where they sit, or just for a fun twist on the ‘red table or blue table’ concept. Simply change your print layout to portrait mode, and they will turn into fun and foldable designs. Design includes Blue Badgers, Yellow Yaks, Red Roosters, Orange Octopi, Pink Penguins and Green Grasshoppers.

Monster-themed locker or tray labels. I have created and used these to create a fun way for children to find their lockers. Print, label and then laminate to create a fun display setting for your class. There are plenty of monsters here, including spares for any new starters mid-year.

Oracy-Inspired Talk Detectives Checklist

Use the Talk Detectives Checklist for your lessons, where your observers are listening and watching to see if any of their peers are using any oracy-based skills. My children have used these during Literacy, History and even Art when they are posed with an discussion-based open question. Laminate them and use them with whiteboard pens so you can reuse them again and again. Have the children feed back on what went well, and what discussion or oracy guidelines they have used. I have used these in a Key Stage 1 setting, although they can easily be used within Lower Key Stage 2 too.
