Explore Part 1 here: https://www.todogroups.com/c?listId=480 This “All About Me” project is a structured learning unit for Grades 3–6 that supports students in building self-awareness in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. In this project, students create a personal portfolio where they explore different aspects of their life, such as their family, important people, identity, wellbeing, values, and worldview. The key strength of this unit is that it is not just a collection of worksheets. It is a guided learning process where students always know what to do next and can progress step by step. How the unit works in practice The project can be delivered through the Todo Groups platform, where: students follow tasks one step at a time (only one task is visible at a time) using their own device or a shared classroom screen instructions are always clear and easy to follow students can work at their own pace (great for differentiation) the teacher can monitor each student’s progress in real time and provide support where needed a simple reward system helps maintain motivation This structure reduces the need for constant repetition and helps students stay focused, even in mixed-ability classrooms. Teachers can create a free account and assign the project to their group: https://www.todogroups.com/teacher/signup Students join the teacher’s group easily and can begin working immediately. After copying the task list, teachers can freely edit and adapt it to suit their own class and learning goals. What students will do Students create a personal portfolio and build it step by step through different themes: exploring their family background and creating a family tree reflecting on important people in their lives identifying personal strengths and thinking about the future learning about wellbeing, emotions, and resilience exploring values, virtues, and their own worldview Printable worksheets are included and can also be used independently. Learning objectives This unit supports key areas found in many international curricula: self-awareness and personal development social and emotional learning (SEL) communication and reflection skills understanding relationships and diversity Classroom experience This unit has been used successfully with Grade 4 to 8. It often leads to meaningful discussions, stronger group cohesion, and deeper understanding between students. Students are always free to choose what they want to share. A safe and respectful classroom environment is essential.
