The Worry Wall
This worksheet is a social-emotional learning (SEL) activity designed to help children identify which worries are realistic and which are unlikely to happen. It encourages children to sort their thoughts, making worries feel easier to understand and manage.
Purpose
This activity encourages children to:
Recognise the difference between realistic and unlikely worries.
Think critically about whether a worry is based on something that is likely to happen.
Reduce anxiety by identifying worries that are exaggerated or imagined.
Organise their thoughts in a simple, visual way.
Build emotional awareness and develop healthy coping strategies by challenging unhelpful worries.
