Count the Sheep 1 to 10: EYFS Counting Sheet with Numerals, Number Words and Pictures
A cheerful counting sheet with ten boxes. Each box shows a numeral, the number word and that many little sheep, from 1 to 10, so children can touch and count each sheep, one number word for each sheep, and match the total to the numeral and the word.
How to use:
Point and count each sheep together, touching one sheep per number word.
Say a number and find it on the sheet. Or cover a numeral with a sticky note, count the sheep and ask “how many?”, then lift the note to check.
Put a large counter or a cotton wool ball beside the box for each sheep, then count them together. Supervise small items with under-3s.
Sheep come in rows of five, so children can start to see 6 as “5 and 1 more” and spot small amounts without counting.
Page size: A4. On US Letter, print with Fit to page.
