This is an assessment I have written which should give students the opportunity to demonstrate a range of skills from the OS map skills unit. Only 2 questions out of the 25 require the teacher to self mark. The assessment covers: Map symbols 4 and 6 figure grid references Scale Height Direction Latitude and longitude Justification of locations using an OS map A mix of self marking multiple choice and extended writing answers Only 2 questions require teacher to read submissions
