A planner to help you prioritise your work and record your efforts to identify your workload.

The purpose of these planners is to help secondary school teachers manage their workload more effectively, prioritise the tasks that matter most and reduce the need to work during evenings and weekends. The printable planner is designed for teachers who prefer pen and paper. Each day, enter your fixed commitments, identify your three main priorities, estimate how long tasks will take and record what needs to be completed, simplified or deferred. At the end of the day, use the shutdown checklist to prepare for tomorrow and record any work that has spilled into your personal time. The weekly review helps you identify recurring pressures and decide what to change in the week ahead. The digital Excel planner offers a more flexible way to manage the same process. Use the Daily Planner to organise commitments and priorities, the Task Bank to maintain a rolling list of outstanding work, the Weekly Overview to plan ahead, and the Evening Work sheet to record and review time spent working beyond your intended stopping time. Dropdown menus help you update task statuses and decisions, while automatic totals make it easier to monitor workload patterns. The Start Here sheet explains how to use the workbook. At the end of each week, review what took longer than expected, identify tasks that could be simplified or shared, and consider whether recurring workload pressures need to be discussed with a line manager. Both versions are intended to help teachers work more sustainably, protect their personal time and recognise when the workload is simply too great to fit into the hours available. The aim is not to squeeze more work into every minute, but to make realistic decisions about what genuinely needs doing.

AQA Power and Conflict Work Booklet

(0)
This is a pupil work booklet that can be done as revision homework by themselves or it can be done in classes where you are talking them through it. Each sheet has a set of tasks based on one poem from the AQA Power and Conflict Anthology that will make them think about specification quotations, techniques and themes in the poems. These should literally just be a case of print and go. Fantastic resource to give out for the Easter Holidays where they could do one sheet per day to keep their revision going. They are produced in an A4 landscape orientation so that it can be displayed on an Interactive White Board.
