A PowerPoint and set of diffreniated worksheets designed to teach the parts of animal and plant cells.
The PowerPoint introduces key cell structures (e.g. nucleus, cytoplasm, cell membrane, chloroplasts, and vacuole) using clear visuals and simple explanations. The accompanying worksheets are diffreniated, offering varying levels of challenge. They follow a ‘doodle’ sheet format asking the student to name, describe and colour the parts of the cells.
Links directly to the Year 6 Evolution and Inheritance curriculum by enabling pupils to explore how living things have changed over time through fossil evidence, understand adaptation and evolutionary change, and develop working scientifically skills by analysing evidence and constructing explanations.
