Completed AQA live webinar training on stretching grade 4-5 in English literature and created this as a student friendly guide. This bookmark provides tips/prompts/reminders on how to successfully address each assessment objective and provides students with the opportunity to reflect or assess their own work, both prior to writing and during. I intend on providing my students with this and encouraging them to refer back to this during lessons and homework.

Here is An Inspector Calls board game I’ve made and supporting resources you may wish to use. Included is: the board game, the rules (with answer sheet on the back for the questions for students to check against), player counters, and finally, the question cards. You may wish to get these all laminated so they can be used again and again. A rundown of the question cards: Orange – cross links between An Inspector Calls and A Christmas Carol Blue – key quotes recall Pink – key vocabulary Purple – Priestley and context Red – your character card Yellow – judgement/ prediction cards These questions can easily be added to, and students can make note of any card they couldn’t answer, with a view to learn this. Up to 5 players can play at one time.
