A complete scheme of work for the A Level AQA Paper 1 Gatsby and Pre-1900 poetry comparison question. The powerpoints cover all of the Assessment Objectives for all texts and have specific comparison activities throughout. The teaching of poetry and Gatsby is combined so that poems are introduced at revelvant points to compare to the novel’s themes/characters/plot and previous poems taught. Some school specific terminology used such as ‘Do It Now’ used. Complete and ready to teach otherwise.

12 lessons made for KS3 (year 9) class working on Language paper 1 Q4 and 5. Focused around detective fiction extracts, the lessons build on writing, planning and analysis skills on these questions as well as AO5 techniques and Spag.

2 lessons for creative writing in year 11. Lessons look at example answers against the mark scheme and focus on developing a student’s response with an interesting structure. Created for a top set year 11 class with top band answers.
