Really super worksheets on mean average that I used recently for an NQT observation and went down really well with SLT. Students will need some introduction onto what the mean average is first. I started with the mean average worksheet, and then extended with the problem solving questions worksheet. Further extension onto average speed allows faster paced students to continue with applying the knowledge while others are working on the rest of the sheet. Two worksheets. First sheet includes tables for students to generate sequences clearly. Offers extension questions for faster students. Second sheet gives a clear, thought out route for students to move from the timestable rules eg 3n, 4n, to the adjustments required for rules such as 4n+3. Worked well with my slow paced Year 8s. Used as a structured homework sheet to encourage literacy and knowledge of key vocabulary. Based on the Frayer Model - students write their own definition, and give examples and non-examples. One sheet is standard for more confident students and the other offers some scaffolding to guide them towards the correct answers. A selection of worded fraction questions to extend the most able students aiming for mastery. I collated these from another resource and have aimed them at my higher ability Year 7 and 8 students. A little starter or revision aid for Physics, specifically AQA. I found these types of sheets really helpful with my ASD students who are much happier investigating and looking up the information than they are being lectured. Scaffolded worksheets to help weaker students identify HCF and LCM. I made these myself for a slower Year 7 set who needed the structure to get to the final answer. Each worksheet took us one lesson with faster students moving onto creating their own questions for each other. We then spent one lesson with the Functional HCF and LCM Questions.

Question loop for rocks and building materials. Used questions from another source but have sorted it into boxes to make a good cut and stick activity. I've found this particularly useful with ADHD/ASD students who need something hands on and varied. Can be done individually or in pairs/small groups. Hopefully this will be useful for reinforcing existing knowledge and highlighting any weaknesses. I have edited the question loop table to remove the one duplication.
