I have produced this resource for my triple Science students following mock exams they completed. The resources attached are powerpoint presentations that are designed to teach exam technique by going through the mock paper - which is an actual past paper or specimen paper for GCSE Chemistry. Students found this resource helpful in training them on how to answer exam questions

I have prepared an Revision planner for year 11 Triple Students who are sitting the GCSE OCR gateway separate Sciences this academic year 2020. This resource has been put together using the CGP revision guides for Biology, Chemistry and Physics and the accompanying workbooks. The planner organises all the Science revision for them. All they have to do is follow the planner and using their revision guides and workbooks to do their revision. This has been very successful with my students in improving progress & attainment in GCSE separate Sciences

I have created this revision planner for my year 11 students to help them organise their Science revision for their Summer exams 2020 this year. This resource is cross referenced to the CGP OCR gateway Combined Science revision guide and accompanying workbook. Students will be well prepared for getting the high grades because they are learning the content but also practising exam questions using the workbook. You can edit to change the dates if you wish… but this planner starts 3rd February 2020 and comes to an end first week of May. There are empty slots on the planner for students to add their other revision as needed

New bundle ! I have created these booklets called ‘Passports to success’ for Biology paper 1 and 2 and chemistry paper 1 and 2. These are specifically for AQA Combined Science. They are made up of quick fire common questions. Each booklet is made up of a one page spread of approximately 15 questions on each topic followed by a page with answers. For example the Biology paper 1 ‘passport to sucess’ contains a page of questions followed by a page of answers for each of the topics B1 - cells, B2 Organisation, B3 -infection & response and B4 - Bioenergetics. The Biology paper 2 ‘passport to sucess’ contains a page of questions followed by a page of answers for each of the topics B5 - Homeostasis & Response, B6 Inhertiance, Evolution & Variation and B7 - Ecology. The chemistry paper 1 and 2 booklets are set on a similar way. I have these created as A5 size booklets that students carry around for quick retrieval/Revision. Students have liked these booklets especially as friends, parents and siblings can use them to test each other/ their child. They can be used in form time as revision tool as well.

NEW! OCR GATEWAY COMBINED SCIENCE FOUNDATION - PHYSICS PAPER 1: I created these resources for my students who were sitting the foundation OCR gateway Foundation Combined Science. These resources prepare the student to sit the Physics paper 1 Foundation exam. My students struggled with just using the revision guide to prepare notes and requested me to build a resource for them - hence these mind maps. I linked these with the OCR GATEWAY Combined Science Foundation Revision guide pages that the school brought for them. They were then able to go through the pages and select the important content that they needed to know and that would complete the questions. The questions are designed to ensure students will have a secure knowledge of Paper 1 Physics.

NEW! OCR GATEWAY COMBINED SCIENCE PHYSICS FOUNDATION PAPER 2 MIND MAPS! I created these mind maps for my students who were struggling with physics paper 2 content. They did not know how to revise or how to use their OCR gateway revision guide that the school brought for them. I created these mind maps to help them process the information on the relevant pages in the revision guide and prepare for their physics foundation paper 2 exams. Students loved them especially as they could work through them at their own pace. They were able to complete these in their own time and then used then to revise for their exam. Students came out of the exam very confident especially since up till now they complained they didn’t understand physics!

NEW! AQA Higher Revision mind maps for every topic in Paper 1 Combined Science. Each Mindmap is linked to AQA CGP Higher Combined Science revision guide. Students use each paper 1 chapter in the revision guide to completethe resource. Once completed the students can rehearse these key facts in preparation for Mock exams as well as the Summer GCSE exams. The resources can be completed at home or in school. However the teacher must check the completion of these to ensure all relevant detail has been put down. My students have found these resources extremely useful and have performed well in the last 2 years that these particular resources have been used.

New! Student Friendly - Foundation Paper 1 Revision mind maps for AQA Trilogy Combined Science. This resource is linked to the CGP AQA Combined Science Foundation revision guide but the higher revision guide can be used as well. They can be enlarged to A3 size and turned into back to back copies and stapled if needed. I created these for the foundation level students who carried out revision using these resources and then used these as their revision material to help prepare for the summer exams. I trialled it for the last 2 years and students made above target progress. Students liked these resources very much. It meant they didnt need to use the revision guide anymore. Questions are directly linked to material in the revision guide. Students can complete these at home or in revision lesson at school.
