These are the example questions set by Edexcel but I have translated them and left room for the students to write notes. They work well laminated for revision sessions. The second is model answers and the other sheet is a match up exercise.

I developed these resources for Spanish AS / A2 students during Safer Internet day 2016. Some discussion and then texts with exercises with an emphasis on using the preterite and imperfect tenses correctly. DISCLAIMER: The translation help sheets are not mine!

Good for revision. Very basic speaking game and writing frame (based on the Kerboodle resource). Students partner up (will work as a 3*). They each write a paragraph. Words in bold start the sentence and must be used, they then choose from the options to finish each sentence. THEY MUST NOT SHOW EACH OTHER! Partner A guesses what Partner B has written down, when they get it wrong they must start again. They then switch over. By the end, they should remember a nice paragraph off by heart. Remove the support and see what they can remember of the other partner’s paragraph. They then have to translate their paragraph and their partner’s. By the end they should have 2 (or 3*) possible answers for '¿Llevas una vida sana? They can then close their books and see if they can remember an extended answer. I have put it on Powerpoint as easier to display. *Partner C must also recite Partner A’s paragraph at the end, and they can gradually write it down as Partner B gets it right.
