Edexcel IGCSE Physics: Forces Revision Mats

(0)
Two editable PowerPoint revision mats, designed to be printed on A3 paper: Forces 1a: Covers the first part of the Forces specification, up to Newton’s Second Law. Forces 1b: Covers the remaining Forces content. Each mat comes in two versions: Completed version: Contains the information students need to retrieve. Blank version: Allows students to test their knowledge by completing the missing information. How to use the activity Print and display the completed revision mats around the classroom. Give students the corresponding blank mats to complete in pairs. Students take turns visiting the completed mats, memorising information and returning to their desks to record it. Students alternate roles at regular intervals (I use 30s) Covered: Motion graphs (distance and velocity) Calculating velocity and motion Measuring velocity Terminal velocity Stopping distance Hooke’s Law Types of forces Weight Newton 1 Newton 2 Newton 3 Momentum Moments

IB Physics IA Checklist

(0)
A detailed checklist for the IB Physics IA. Its based on more than 10 years of marking IAs and (hopefully) addresses all the common errors students make. The idea is to look at each section as they do that part of the write up rather than just at the end.
