Two introductions to complex sentences and follow up work for day one

Writing a TV news report.

This is a lesson I have used with my year 3 class on using adverbs in their writing. It is differentiated 3 ways with a help card for the middle and top children. We used it in conjunction with reading the iron man and watching the iron giant.

This is a one off lesson for compound sentences. It uses the you tube video of the 2012 Guinness advert about a the life of a cloud.
