Each knowledge organiser contains all of the most important information from each Set Work on a sheet of A4 paper. This is a much easier resource to use for revision than the Set Works Support Guides. It is also useful as a quick reference for the main features of each piece, which have been split into: Specific Terminology Performing Forces Structure Melody Tonality Tempo, Metre and rhythm Texture Harmony Hopefully you will find this as useful a tool for revision and study as I have with my classes.

This resource provides a great starter or settling activity at the beginning of the lesson. Focusing on correct terminology and full answers such as drum kit helps prepare students for GCSE style questions. There is also a full booklet included with questions and a target setting grid. This is very useful if all students don’t have a view of the PowerPoint, and saves students writing down unnecessary information.

These are tasks which can be done in preparation for the appraising/listening exam, or as a nice starter activity at the beginning of each lesson,.
