The pack includes 36 weeks worth of spellings covering what the children need to be able to spell by the end of year 1. An addition 4 weeks of common exception spellings which they need to be able to say and spell by the end of year 1. It is set out for the sheet to go straight into their books using the 'look, say, cover, write and check' method as it is proven to support children with remembering the spellings. Each sheet includes a hint to support children and small explanation to support parents with aiding their children's spellings. They have been created in word so you can edit them to fit your children's ability and range.
