A SOW for KS3 as a series of lessons to build up team working skills. The first lesson has individualised resources. The next lessons require access to textbooks, online materials or using the LRC to support the research into 6 key battles over time. I used Hodder Warfare through time.
Introduction to warfare over time. Students investigate 6 battles over time and make inferences. This requires access to textbook / making own resources for future lessons to research further. This lesson can be used a stand alone lesson as resources are available.

Manifestos - search for pledges or use your school pledge so that students can define what a manifesto is - there are lots of types online.
