A bit of silliness perhaps, but an original take on forming the perfect tense and near future, thus necessitating sound knowledge of avoir, être and aller. It was originally written with a Year 10 class in mind and is supposed to read like a spoof flat-pack furniture guide (à la Ikea). When printed recto-verso it can be folded to create an A5 booklet. May be useful to some... Also available as a Word document, should anyone want to edit it.

PowerPoint to introduce pets to Yr8 (or any KS3) based on Echo 1. During presentation phase, the slides are hyperlinked so that students can randomly choose a number to revise and practise the key vocabulary. Hope it's useful.

Simple idea to revise prepositions. Notebook file contains a 3D room with furniture and items from Echo 1 Kapitel 5 Mein Zuhause (Wo ist es?). The football and handbag can be moved around and students should then describe where the items are... You can 'delete' white ink on the top of the page to reveal the question 'Wo ist der Fußball?' and the beginnings of an answer... Viel Spaß
