When I was the D.T coordinator for a previous school, staff found it hard not to create art lessons instead of D.T and found it equally tricky to find planning to follow that didn’t cost a fortune. I created full medium term plans for the school to follow, that weren’t longer than 2 pages and followed the same structure. This plan is most suited to UKS2 but could easily be adapted for LKS2. It fits in perfectly with a Roundhead and Cavalier History topic, or just as a stand alone textile project.
