A Powerpoint and bingo game based on the Russian Revolution. This is to support an Art and Design project based on designing propaganda posters but could easily be used for History or even Media Studies.
This is a Powerpoint presentation that I made for sixth form BTEC Art students but could easily be used with GCSE students in either Art or Media Studies.
Presentation on Egyptian Art to be used with the wordsearch starter( This wordsearch was not mine, can't take credit for it but it fits with the presentation!). I use this with Year 7 students. Hope it's helpful!
Colour coded placemats detailing the requirements for A/B/C grades at AQA GCSE. Additional notes have been added to break down the assessment objectives for learners. The grade boundary sheet is for the reverse of the ABC sheets. I enlarge these to A3 and place them on the tables in all my GCSE lessons.
based on @teachertoolkit 5 minute lesson plan, this weekly 5 min plan was designed by @jobaker9 and just made pretty by me. All hail Twitter for making it possible! www.teachertoolkit.me
A fairly old Banksy presentation containing hyperlinks to videos and news articles on the now infamous Banksy. Could now do with updating in light of his recent exhibition in Bristol. Watch this space!
The learning journey that students will undertake for a GCSE print project organised graphically, based on the London tube map. PPT file included so it can be adapted. Original idea based on a document from Ash Hill Academy Art Department.
I've just put this PPT together to introduce my Level 3 BTEC students to the digital SLR - their unit is all about band photography but the first slides could be edited out. If it&'s useful to anybody else I&';m happy to share!
This is a starter challenge to introduce KS3 to portraiture and self portraits.
Students work in pairs to match up the portraits to the instagram comments and hashtags. Gets students chatting about the content, form, process and mood of the portraits.
Fully customisable - just edit the text and add any portraits you like.
Originally designed by the delightful @jobaker9 from a concept by the genius that is @pekabelo here is my much lauded but basically copied refinement log for your viewing pleasure. Don't forget to tweet me @leedsartteacher to see it in use!
Cut up diamonds - learners work in groups to arrange statements in order of complexity from the top down. Helps to differentiate between describing, explaining and evaluating their work. One correct order has been established, statements can be colour coded for learners to reference as they annotate their work.
This is just a little PPT containing lots of links to galleries on the first slide and links to contemporary art blogs/sites on the second. Each coloured box is a hyperlink when the PPT is viewed as a presentation. I put this on our VLE for easy access for students. Hope it's useful!
I am with AQA-Fine Art . I've chosen &'Close-up&'; q as the best choice for the students to do, but still give students the choice of the other questions if they feel that they want to do them.\nI have included a PPT presentation based on relevant artists for Close-up. I've also enlarged these to A3 and laminated them with the artist info on the back so that they can be used as placemats. I&'ve also included a student diary that tracks progress through the prep period.\nI&';ve added my basic lesson slides .\nHope some is useful to somebody! Feedback always appreciated! x
