Malala Yousafzai P4C

(2)
A powerpoint lesson on the human right's activist and youngest Nobel Peace Prize nominee Malala Yousafzai. An interesting lesson to promote educational rights and inspire a P4C (philosophy for children) discussion. The task after this tutorial was to write Malala a letter, which the children provided question prompts to themselves. Please leave a review to let me know your views on this resource. The Course of a River (River Nile focus, Year 5/6)

(4)
A Powerpoint including WALT, WILF and tasks for Year 5 and 6 children studying Rivers. Focusing on the River Nile, the children will need an atlas for this lesson in order to follow the course of the river and begin to understand basic vocabulary. I would recommend giving lower ability/SEN children tracing paper to trace the River Nile and skip the description.

P4C: In the News

(1)
A Powerpoint of 8 topical P4C (philosophy for children) sessions covering a range of topics such as: - racism (segregation), - imagination, - morals (should Scientists bring back Mammoths?) - Science and Technology (40 years of the mobile phone). Use the images as stimuli to spark discussions around topics and questions thought of by the children. Happy debating!
