This worksheet accompanies a Youtube video of 4 different musical soundtrack accompaniments to one scene from Pirates of the Caribbean. Students watch the clip and complete the table using the keyboards. There is a link to a quizlet to study the terms if needed.

There are 3 short composition exercises that cover Theme and Variations, Minimalism and Viennese Waltz. These are produced on musescore and attached as links to mxl files which should open on Sibelius / Flat /Musescore.
There are explanatory videos accompanying each composition exercise which talk students through each step of the process.
These exercises are simply for students to practice their composing skills in a variety of styles. They would therefore be suitable for GCSE and able KS3 students. They were designed to be used by students who are engaging in home learning during COVID school closures.
These listening questions are written for those studying CIE iGCSE with the Mozart piano concerto as the 2021 set work, but would be good listening and analysis practice for any KS4 / 5 students. They relate specifically to movement 3.
