Worksheet to guide students in how to calculate BMI. Additional boxes to prompt their thinking about advice that could be given to the individuals based on their calculations. Can be modified for lower ability groups (this was for a top set Year 10)
A blank synapse I get my students to fill in and label themselves. Sometimes works as a group activity, everyone filling in/labelling one thing, and then passing it along.
An activity I use and adapt for all KS groups/topics. I print these out, snip them into individual questions and hand one to each student. They then have 2 minutes to brainstorm, and pass their slip down (repeat for however long you have!).
