#googleexpeditions Browsing Argentina

We used this in our level 3 classroom (though it is more suited for level 2 or an advanced 1) to tour around the Field Trip to Argentina expedition. We kept it short, using only 3 images from the entire expedition and practiced commands, new vocab, directions, and culture! I used this front and back worksheet as a reason to pause, as many students get headaches or vertigo if they spend too long using the goggles.

Write a Diary Entry with #GoogleExpeditions

Take your students on a journey through Borneo Rainforest! This lesson has been tailored to appeal to younger groups, particularly Y3 and Y4 (however it can be adjusted to make it easier/harder). Students will come face-to-face with a range of different animals in the rainforest. The main aim of the lesson is to encourage creative writing and prepare students to write a diary entry about their experience . As you take students through each of the different scenes, use the worksheet to test whether students are paying attention along the way. Once you have completed the expedition, have a class discussion to come up with some adjectives for describing what the rainforest is like. Students can then use this list to help them with their diary entry! Remember to print out copies of the blank diary entry for students to use! The lesson plan contains the following content: 1. Lesson plan 2. Worksheet to be completed during the expedition 3. Blank Diary entry with prompts 4. Google Expeditions - AR - Introduction to Genetics - DNA and RNA #Google Expeditions

This is for any teacher that is introducing genetics to their students. You could also use this to introduce students to parts of a cell. Another use would be an introduction to the different domains of life and an example would be the Domain Eukaryota. There are so many uses for this Google Expeditions AR lesson. If students don't understand about DNA and chromosomes when learning about life and the cell, then they kind have missed the most important part. #GoogleExpeditions
