Daily Log for a child exhibiting challenging behaviours

I created this Daily Log in response to a parent saying they did not understand what their child was doing ‘wrong’ and why their child was behaving inappropriately in their new Reception Class. Each day has one ‘booklet’, outlining the days expectations. Staff highlight when appropriate behaviours are demonstrated. A list of agreed strategies are recorded on the back of the booklet. There is a section for parents to respond. It proved to be an effective tool for discussion. To be used for a short term. It will need to be adapted for individual use.
