Then there is a PPT of 5 pieces of evidence on Haig, some positive, some negative. In pairs pupils work through questions on the sources, noting down answers. Pupils then have an individual task, to write up the answers in detail for two of the sources, minimum. The sources are on a separate worksheet, with space for their answers and an example of how to answer. For the plenary I simply get pupils to read out their answers.
