Part 2 In which students are asked to create a model of the shoe for a famous person whom they researched in part1 of the assignment using their design created in Part1 of this assignment. This 2 part assignment is designed to take a full term and should develop students' ability to develop independent and sustained working in preparation for GCSE work.

Part1 Encourages students to research and select from a chosen list of artists and present their research visually. Part2 Encourages students to use the knowledge gained from their research to design room interiors inspired by their chosen artist.

Part 1 of this assignment involves researching a chosen famous person and creating a resource board.

Part 1 Encourages students to research a major event of their lifetime. Part 2 Encourages students to use their research to design a public sculpture to commemorate their chosen major event. This assignment develops students independent working in preparation for GCSE.

This assignments builds on the previous portraiture assignment. Students are asked to develop their previously created portraits by designing fashion overlays.
