This activity is intended to help students learn more about the different parts that make up a computer system. They should begin to gain an overview of their function and become more familiar with key vocabulary.
Print out the fact cards and then hide them around your room. This activity can be completed solo, in pairs or groups using the worksheet. Students will have to hunt for the information hidden around your classroom - they will love a challenge, so don’t make them all too easy to find. They will need to find them all to find all ten letters for the secret word. (Card 1 has the first letter, card 2 has the second letter and so on.) When they solve the code word they will have all the necessary vocabulary to support their learning.
