This is aimed at KS3 but could easily be adapted for KS4. It runs through specific aspects of SPAG to check, gets students to create their own personalised proof reading bookmark and then a series of activities to engage them in using it.

A lesson revising minor (and some more major!) characters of Romeo and Juliet. Offers a grid with an example on Friar Laurence as well as key bullet points on each character after students do independent/group work.

A series of 4 standalone lessons on narrative writing. Three of the lessons offer ideas on planning and developing stories on different titles. The final lesson focuses on getting students to build a bank of multi-dimensional characters that they could use in a variety of narratives.
