This is the PowerPoint I use to explore the basics of Rhythm and Metre (Area of Study 01), and I have also added to audio files that are embedded in the PowerPoint.
This covers the basics of keyword definitions and examples, but is a good starting point for the pupils.
A fun activity to get their young minds ticking, and get them thinking! Just run the PowerPoint and the pupils need to guess who the 'close-up&' picture is of (answers follow)! Please comment and let me know what you think and how it works in your class!
This is the third one I have tried of these, and the pupils still seem to enjoy the challenge. I hope it helps in some way!

“Traditional Greek Music” - Whole Lesson
This resource takes the pupils through all that they need to know about “Traditional Greek Music” in preparation for their Music GCSE. I have made a set of musical instruments top trump cards. A fun way to revise the instruments of the orchestra, any a few more. Once you have downloaded the word doc, you will need to edit the values on the cards. This has been something I have been meaning to do, but in the mean time I thought I should share this and let others use it!

With Ukulele's becoming more and more popular, I created this arrangement for my Ukulele group.
Reasonably straight forward, but effective arrangement which the group performed in my last school concert.

I created this PowerPoint to help guide a whole class performance. It is also an introduction to Horror Music and the compositional devices that could be used.
I create a small story that you can see on the slides, with pictures and text etc. Each slide acts as a new scene, with an introduction of new interments, sounds etc. The story can be read by teacher or pupil as the slide progresses.
