Mighty Boosh inspired anti-bullying assembly
A fair trade banana is finding life hard at a local zoo and is consequently bullied by a bunch of 'ordinary' bananas.
Random acts of kindness
An assembly to inspire doing the right thing - video clip links have been attached, but watch them first as one is from Balls of Steel and needs to be played after unhealthy school language has been played. Very funny clip through.
TORO! TORO!
An inspired re-imagining of Michael Morpurgo's TORO! TORO! One child&'s battle against the odds. The Spanish civil war is tearing the country apart, but one boys friendship, with a bull, brings a new hope to the land. A touching story for both adults and children.
Seth the Evil one verses Horus the Avenger
A class assembly which retells the stories of Seth the Evil One and Horus the Avenger - ancient Egypt brought back to life, inspired by Mighty Boosh style comedy. Song links have also been attached.
The Tempest
I have tried to give Shakespeare's The Tempest a slightly modern twist while remaining as true as I can to the child friendly version of the play.

Modern take on Romeo & Juliet - MOTD inspired
This is a modern take on Romeo & Juliet which highlights a friendship between two football players from rival teams.
Dreary, dodgy doomsday school
Inspired by the poem, Dreary, dodgy doomsday school - never smile is the golden rule. An evil head has taken over the school, stealing the children's smiles. Thankfully, they find a magical ghetto blaster and a CD which can summon 80s heroes, such as the Ghost Busters, Knightrider and The A-Team whi try and win back the children&'s smiles.
End of the world as we know it
In a future society, Michael Hove (just for my own protection) has destroyed education. School children have lost the ability to learn and discover things for themselves due to rote learning. The Earth is in turmoil with the Moon and their falling out has been disastrous for space and the Earth - what has Pluto done? How will the planet survive? Will Earth's children be able to overcome all odds and prevail against evil?
War with the Newts
Who's looking at me looking at you? A frustrated animal race rises up against Sir David Attenborough and his film crew, who have made one documentary too many. An assembly which questions privacy and observations, hopefully having a little bit of fun along the way. So, who&'s looking at me looking at you?
