Colourful breakfast foods powerpoint with additional support materials - worksheet containing vocabulary to match to pictures, a teacher-read listening, paired speaking and short writing tasks. Café menus, slide to support speaking. Running dictation with text cards and pupil sheets to print - I normally split them into groups of 3 and put a text card in each corner of the room. I also incuded a revision of likes/dislikes worksheet with word-search which could be used for homework or cover.

Powerpoint made from various TES resources (thank you!) to introduce 10 French animals with some sounds and a few animations - revises numbers in starter activity - read different numbers of pets for the listening exercise, paired speaking and match-up tasks (on ppt and using the cards in the word doc) - link to BBC classclips' Farley cartoon is on the separate powerpoint for a change of focus!

Introduction of 12 sports and 4 simple opinions with a match-up grid and a speaking grid for pupils to complete.

A few French lessons about Easter based around excellent SCILT worksheet - with Poisson d'avril info and other bits borrowed from various TES resources (merci) - I've added youtube links to French chocolate adverts, chocolate making etc - slides have answers to reading tasks.

A fun class or homework song comprehension activity. One page worksheet with answer scheme on second page to use with a free video I found on YouTube called ‘Qué asco’ from the fantastic American teacher Señor Wooly. Would fit if covering the topic of food or the grammar point ‘gustar’. I made this for my 13-14 year olds in S3 Spanish (beginners class - suitable for relatively new learners or for less able).

Lower ability can present in present tense and higher ability could give theirs as yesterday's weather. Suitable for all age groups. Maps of France, Spain and Germany included.
