Powerpoint: A group of resources that show evidence of all assessed competencies and ideas for each. This is for the practical element of the new A level practicals. They can be modified and there is some guidance on how each one is used in the comments box. Excel Document: The excel document acts as a cover page and is stuck into lab book at the start of each practical . the assessed competencies are highlight followed 3 columns to indicate how well they have met the competency and finally a column for teacher comments. This is stuck in before each practical and pupils have space to complete their self reflection and evaluation after finishing the practical.

The web address is brilliant for peer assessment as it randomly selects pupils names and then you can choose them to ask any pupil a question as long as they know the answers themselves. The conveyor belt starter is an activity where pupils see words on a powerpoint and they fly past them at varied times and speeds. I use this to get pupils to challenge themselves on how many words they can get. These words are the keywords for the lesson.
