A 10 page resource - designed for quick daily practice of reasoning word problems for year 6 in SAT preparation. A page could be completed each day as practice or you could spread them out other a longer period but they were originally made to be 5 days of practice in one week. Each fully photocopiable page comes with an answer sheet. Designed to help year 6 to apply their knowledge to problems. The last sheet has practice with other reasoning skills such as angles, area and volume.

This is a fully photocopiable resource for guided reading sessions developed for upper KS2 year 5 and 6. It is centred around the book Kensuke’s Kingdom by Michael Morpurgo which has been divided into 19 reading sessions to read over 19 lessons in class. The reading plan is included. The final 20th session is a book review session. This resource consists of 42 pages with 20 printable worksheets for 20 separate reading sessions along with answer sheets to help with marking the sessions. Designed to be photocopiable as question sheets have all been produced in black and white to make it cheaper to print. The questions asked cover the full range of styles of questions that children are expected to answer in the end of KS2 assessment tests (SATs) and include: retrieval questions, inference question, questions demonstrating understanding of vocabulary, explanation, prediction and summary skills).

This is a single sheet and worksheet that I made to be fully photocopiable to help with reasoning questions for the maths SAT papers. If you like this I do have five similar reasoning sheets with answers that I have for sale for only £1 in my shop. The idea being that they can be used as a quick practice sheet for each day of the week. They are a mix of reasoning style questions.
