Full Reading and Writing Smart Notebook lessons for 2 and a half to 3 weeks. This text was used with a Year 5 class, and has full lessons to work through for a whole reading week (which includes Vocabulary and comprehension questions and tasks to complete), followed by a writing unit ( a planning day, writing day, and improvements day), which then leads to a final reading week of different tasks and activities based on the pages read each day. All lessons (13 full lessons in total) are to last an hour, and completes this funny enjoyable text that the children absolutely love. The reading and writing frameworks cover the NC objectives and activities are structured to support the closing of reading and the vocabulary gap for children.
