What does an adjective do to a noun etc. Pair work - match the stickers to their adjective Independent work - LA - with Teacher - write simple phrases e.g hot sun, red van etc Middle/Focus - fill in the grid with noun/adjective HA - Pick own object cards and get them to write full sentence using 2 adjectives to describe one noun

Phonics resources that I have used with my Year 1 and 2 mixed Phonics group. Most resources need to be printed out onto 16 labels (Avery or YPO) I use some of them as starters to lessons/revision. Children match with their partner (pic to word) I also use as an activity in phonics books to gain evidence of their spelling. Children will stick then write correct word underlining digraph/consonant blend/split digraph or trigraph
