A range of lessons which prepare students for the new AQA Paper 2 English Language. Each lesson focuses on a different question and the focus is cited in the title of the lesson. All resources are included for each lesson and they are accessible for lower ability as well as higher. Some lessons include writing frames, sentence starters and model examples of answers (based on the answers given in AQA mark scheme for the specimen paper). The lessons are planned around engaging topics such as 9/11 and Extending the school day - students really enjoy them!

Introduces students to the context and also has a differentiated (3 levels) annotation guide/question sheet to help them to annotate their anthologies. There are two lessons in this bundle, one for higher ability (A3) and one for lower ability /EAL. The EAL lesson includes a storyboard task.

A task for students to match poetic technique names to their definitions by playing dominoes. Good as a revision task or an introduction. The dominoes are in the correct order on the Powerpoint and Start and Finish go next to each other when matching up.
